High-quality original Deventer M3967 door stop seal for rebated interior doors with a favorable pivot point, made of © Deventer Elastik M (specially modified polyvinyl chloride). Very flexible damping profile with particularly high resistance to aging, weather, UV, and ozone for temperatures from -30°C to +70°C. The door seal is very color stable and can be painted over with synthetic resin paints, 2-component paints, and polyurethane paints. Durable plastic seal with lip for fitting on the rebate, also perfect for renovating, renewing, retrofitting, and sealing old and new room doors.
Easy and quick installation for pressing into a 4 x 7 mm groove. For a continuous door rubber, the sealing profile can be cut at an angle so that the joint runs diagonally to the door opening. For optimal sealing properties, the seal can also be welded.
TIP: If you wet the seal with water mixed with a little dish soap before installation, it will be easier to press into the groove!

Temperature resistance
This room door seal has a very flexible damping profile and has particularly high resistance to aging, weather, UV, and ozone. It withstands temperatures from -30 °C to +70 °C without any problems.
Color stability
The door seal is color stable and can be painted over. It is best to use synthetic resin paint, two-component paint, or polyurethane paint. The plastic seal with lip for fitting on the rebate is therefore ideal if you want to renovate, renew, or retrofit old doors.
Correctly installing this room door seal
The installation of the seal is quick and easy:
- Remove the old seal and any adhesive residues completely.
- You can cut the seal to the appropriate size with scissors.
- Press the seal into the existing groove. Done!
Additional tips:
- Avoid stretching: Stretched room door seals will contract again in daily use, creating a gap.
- Avoid compressing: Compressed door seals tend to come loose from the groove in daily use, resulting in a faulty door closure.
- For optimal sealing properties, the seal can be welded.
- Dip the seal in water mixed with a little dish soap before installation to make it easier to press into the groove.

To determine the size of the room door seal, it is important to measure the gap dimension. For this, use putty and press the mass between the frame and leaf of the door. Then close the door. The remaining part when opening is the gap dimension. Its thickness is the measurement for your seal.
