Gedotec edgeband on a 100-metre roll, 21 or 40 mm
Gedotec edgeband offers a perfect solution for a neat and durable finish to wood and chipboard. Our iron-on edges are characterised by high quality and durability, making them an indispensable accessory for professional craftsmen and DIYers. The melamine edges are ideal for projects of any kind – whether for furniture making, interior design or repairs.
The furniture edges are easily installed using an iron. The integrated hot-melt adhesive ensures that the edge bonds firmly with the board when heated and lasts over time. For even better results, we recommend smoothing the edge with a wooden block after heating to distribute the adhesive evenly and ensure perfect adhesion. Our edges are also suitable for thinner panels – the excess can be removed with a standard flat file after the hot-melt adhesive has cooled (please do not use a knife or chisel for this, as these can damage the edge and the wood). Sand smoothly with fine sandpaper and make slight bevels.
With the extra large, 100-metre-long roll, our edging is also ideal for large-scale projects. It allows for long, continuous edges without annoying interruptions, making it the perfect choice for furniture construction or large-scale renovation work.
