What should you consider when choosing new cabinet feet?

In order to easily reach under the furniture with a vacuum cleaner or mop, choose an adequate height, as too low cabinet feet make cleaning more difficult. This is particularly important for furniture that is not easily movable.

Square or round - consider how the piece of furniture is designed. Short, square cabinet feet usually do not go well with vintage furniture, but they look good in a Hygge-style setting.

Material & Finishes

These round furniture feet are made of brushed stainless steel. The diameter of the mounting plate is Ø 60 mm. The foot tube has a diameter of Ø 35 mm. Screws with an M10 thread are included for installation. You can choose from the following heights:

Each delivery includes one adjustable furniture foot by Gedotec, including screws and an M10 thread.

How to install the stainless steel furniture feet by Gedotec

1. Empty the cabinet or furniture piece and remove any shelves if necessary. This will make it easier to lift the furniture piece.
2. Carefully place the furniture piece with the backside down on a soft surface.
3. Now, place each stainless steel furniture foot in the desired position and secure it with the included screws. You may need to drill new holes for this. To do this, place the mounting plate on the underside of the furniture piece and mark the holes with a pencil.
   Tip: Drill the holes slightly too small (i.e. too tight), rather than too big. If necessary, you can still enlarge them later on. Also, make sure that the supplied screws have the correct length. They should not be longer than the thickness of the board they are being screwed into. After all, they should not protrude inside the furniture piece.
4. Afterwards, carefully lift the respective piece of furniture with two or more people.
   Caution: Do not use the furniture feet as a pivot point when lifting, as they can break.
5. You may need to readjust the height of the cabinet foot. However, you can still make adjustments afterwards.
6. Finished! Your cabinets and furniture are now safely standing on their new, sturdy stainless steel furniture feet.
