Embedded wall hooks - Here's how it works

First, the correct position for the hooks should be determined. You can use the hooks and eyes as a template to measure the correct size. The folding metal hooks from Gedotec have a depth of 13.5 mm. The wood is then scored multiple times and cut across the fibers. The wooden structure is then carefully chiseled out with a mortising chisel along the marked lines.

To avoid splitting the wood, a bench chisel should be used. It is applied in the direction of the fibers and is suitable for cleaning up. Finally, the metal wall hooks can be embedded into the wood.
