Terrace Drill Template DECK JIG

Build a better, more beautiful deck with the Kreg® Deck Jig. This hidden fastening system works with Kreg deck screws to allow you to install deck boards without visible fasteners, so you only see the beauty of your deck boards and not a pile of screws. The Deck Jig features guides made of hardened steel for drilling precisely positioned pilot holes and guiding the deck screws to securely and invisibly fasten the deck boards from the edge, whether you are using solid wood or composite boards.

The Deck Jig makes drilling the stepped pilot holes and driving the screws easier in all situations, thanks to three guides made of hardened steel - one at a 90° angle to the board edge and two at opposite 45° angles - providing easy access for working near walls and creating strong connections where the boards butt together. The stepped drill bit creates a perfectly positioned pocket hole and through hole for the Kreg deck screws, while a stop collar ensures the perfect drilling depth.

After drilling, simply insert a Kreg deck screw - an integral part of this hidden fastening system - into the same guide and then drive it in with the included square drive bit. This bit also has a stop to ensure the self-tapping, hardened steel screw is driven to the perfect depth. The sharp thread securely bites into the joist while the smooth upper shaft and flat lower head pull the deck board tightly into place.

The Deck Jig system is suitable for composite deck boards, as well as solid wood boards such as cedar, hardwoods, and kiln-dried treated wood.

Manufacturer "Kreg"

It all started with a simple kitchen dresser in the USA. This was to be given a frame without the screw connections being visible. The solution to the problem led to the founding of the company Kreg Tools. Since 1989, the family business has been synonymous with innovative pocket hole jigs, clamps and other useful helpers.
